Supplementary Reinforcement for Anchors in Tension and in Shear

This is a common example of a concrete beam with an anchoring problem near the edge of the concrete. In IDEA StatiCa, supplementary reinforcement can be applied to anchors that are either in tension or in shear (or both) to mitigate the problem.

The model was created in the Connection application and exported directly into Detail application to model the reinforcement.
