Anchoring with cast-in-place reinforcement anchors (EN)

Cast-in-place reinforcement anchors (CIP anchors) are anchoring systems embedded directly into concrete during the casting process.
A cast-in-place anchor is a steel element (rebar) fixed within the formwork before concrete pouring.
Once the concrete cures, the anchor becomes integrally bonded to the concrete, providing strong resistance against tension, shear, or combined loads.
Typical Applications
Baseplates of steel columns and frames
- Industrial equipment and machines
- Precast elements connected to in-situ concrete
Advantages

✅ No drilling or post-installation damage
✅ Excellent durability (anchored before exposure)
✅ Perfect for heavy-duty and permanent structures
Limitations
⚠️ Positioning tolerance is critical — misalignment = unusable anchor
⚠️ No adjustability after pouring
⚠️ Requires careful coordination with formwork and reinforcement layout
