BIM Link Installer issues
The BIM link facilitates data transfer between FEA/CAD applications and IDEA StatiCa. The link needs to be enabled separately for each software package in the BIM Link window.
However, even when you open the BIM Link Installer window and the relevant link is marked as 'Installed', the link still does not work.
One of the reasons why it happens is the existence of another instance of this FEA / CAD software on your computer.
In such cases, or if you need to do the "quiet" instalation, we recommend running the installer separately. The relevant file must be run with administrator rights.
Here is the list of software and relevant files for which we maintain the links. If the software is not listed here, the link is maintained by a third-party vendor, and you will need to communicate with them.
