What works
- Cast-in plates can be modeled and analyzed in both Connection and Detail applications.
- Connection app supports analysis of steel components and non-reinforced concrete.
Current limitations
- Combination of reinforcement bars and headed studs in Connection application will result in failed code-checks due to CEB-FIB: Bulletin 58 constraints.
- Export from Connection to Detail is incomplete:
- A base plate entity is created instead of a cast-in plate, requiring manual adjustments.
- Combination of reinforcement bars and headed studs modelled in Connection are not fully transferred to Detail.
Upcoming development
- Patch 25.1.1 (Nov 11): Headed studs and reinforcement for AISC/ACI codes.
- Patch 25.1.2 (Dec 9): Enables connector code-checks in tension, shear, and combined modes in Detail, with customizable preferences and defaults.
- Version 26.0 (April 2026): Will resolve the need for manual remodeling in Detail after export from Connection, ensuring full compatibility and seamless workflow.
