Concrete Design

Detail

• Better explanation of unsatisfactory results of calculation
  When a Detail analysis stops due to criteria being reached (before 100% load is applied), users now get clear information about what happened and where, instead of a generic “criteria exceeded” message. Learn more in the KBA.
• Code-checking of anchors for EN, ACI and AUS design code:
  We added steel part of anchor code-checks in the results tab and made them part of the postprocessing workflow, performing verifications for Tension/Shear/Bending (when applicable). Learn more in the KBA.
• Cast-in plates - Headed studs:
  A New type of anchor is now supported as part of the Cast-in plate entity, which makes it easy to model typical plates with a combination of studs and welded bars. Learn more in the KBA.
• Reactions of subsoil:
  We added the display of reactions on the contect surfaces between concrete and subsoil, so that you can clearly check and control the model behavior. Learn more in the KBA.

Welds around circular plates

It is now possible to define a circular stiffening plate, and with the type set as Doubler, weld it to a member plate or single plate with a fillet or butt weld.
