We present an example of workflow in several steps, from FEA through CBFEM to IFC.
Starting in FEA model with analyzed structure, using this data in Checkbot where all the specific steel connections are designed and checked in Connection app. Then exporting all the selected connection models with single-click feature into IFC (Industry Foundation Classes) format with keeping the specific coordinates.
Global structure prepared in Autodesk Robot, joints in IDEA StatiCa Connection app, process managed through IDEA StatiCa heckbot.
